Michael's gambling nature reminds me of a guy I've played with a few times in some cash games but not recently. He came one time to a cash game I guess probably from work as he was still dressed in business clothes and with a bottle of a wine. He only played for a little bit, busted, and then busted again playing all kinds of junk, mostly being very loose-passive and willing to call with anything, even nothing on the end just to see the hand. It seemed like poker wasn't enough of a gamble for him, instead, he played craps on the side while everyone was on a break.
He hosted a game once and he had a wife and kids and a small but nice house, so I assume he's not that bad off but it is scary seeing the effects of gambling on people that much.
