Doubtful. I think the cap sucks. Of course it protects the fish from losing quickly. Even worse though is how it protects the trying-to-play-well players who go to the felt with TPTK. These are players who might lose a little or breakeven or even win a little but because they don't play well past the flop--on the turn and river especially--and these guys feed the games for a long, long time. These cap games will most likely play like mini tournaments: pre-flop, flop, see what happens. I'm not saying they still won't be profitable, but they'll certainly limit the decisions per hand which lessens a good players edge.
