You're saying the games were bad because on one night over a few hours you didn't observe horrible play with suckers donking off their entire stack by getting trapped with top pair? The new laws have not changed the fact that most people suck at poker. Most people can never be good at poker. Just rise above these semi-good players that you saw (surely the people at $1-$2 NL aren't all that tough) and crush them.
