Although we have neither met nor exchanged email, I'm a big fan of your writing and have been following your journal for a while. I moved to NYC only two weeks ago and am trying to find a home game that's right for me. Your plan sounds very interesting and I'd love to be a part of it. I primarily play HE, but want very much to learn many games on your list. The stakes are no concern for me. Personally, I'm an engineering type who would appreciate a well-oiled home game to frequent. I'm happy to meet up and show that I'd be a safe addition to the game.
- I haven't met Bradley, but can meet up at a NYC club (and I know where those clubs are already by name).
- I don't know where Bradley lives, but I'm excited enough that it is unlikely to be a factor in whether I come.
- Saturday afternoon from 1PM-6PM or Sunday afternoon from 1PM-6PM
- I'm totally fine with these stakes.
- If the game runs weekly, I would probably attend every week, baring other commitments.
- Chris / contraphonic@yahoo.com
- I'm happy playing any game
- Suggestions: Single-table tournaments could be a fun departure from the standard format from time to time. HORSE would play great in an afternoon STT, and if you're interested in mixing up the format but keeping the game mixed this would be one alternative to consider occasionally.
