Greg correctly points out that I actually had 7 6 rather than 8 7. This is not only correct, it leads to the one troubling thought that I had in the 50 microseconds before I called his all-in: what if I had the wrong end of two different made straights? But, if that were the case, I probably still had outs with the flush draw. And it probably wasn't the case - Greg likes to push middle pairs with draws & such.
