I think I just replied ot this but it didn't show up, so this might be shorter.

anyhoo, the size of the pot, the flop, and the action will dictate whether or not you can peel the flop here, with as little as a backdoor draw and a couple of overs. Yes, I agree, you'd rather turn a king than an ace. But if you bet the ace, get raised, then you simply hope the board pairs on the river. The pot is huge, you've got a boatload of outs, and assuming you can see the turn cheaply, vaya con dios.

No, not in Boston. NYC. Was in Boston, back now. (You can see my location? Thought I was invisible?)

Anyway, as far as the always cap, I don't agree. like I said, its rare that I wouldn't cap, and especially against this lineeup of players I think I have way too big an edge with AK pre-flop not to get another two big bets in the pot. But calling and having the option to bet/three-bet the flop or check-raise or check fold is nice. If you cap, the likilihood that you'll be able to three bet the flop goes down a lot. You'll still probably be able to check-raise, but its riskier as you won't really have a good line on who's betting.
