As you may have noticed, it seems as if my interest in online poker journaling has disappeared. Actually, since April 2005, I have been learning how to balance my new job and its responsibilities with my poker life. I think I've begun to strike the right balance, and I can reintroduce the would-be "fringes" of my poker life -- journal included.

I plan to expand my journal and reach out to a wider audience. A lot is being written about poker these days, and not all of it is good. My goals for this journal for the year to come:

Write full reviews of the NYC clubs that remain. asphnxma1 over on F-Train doesn't do this anymore, and I don't like the "fear" that has overtaken NYC poker. It's legal to play; it's surely legal to write online reviews. Let's talk (generally only, of course) about the clubs we know are there and find the best ones.
Write more articles about poker strategy or tactics. I'd like to eventually write educational articles for new players. Starting with some didactic journal entries with comments from readers would be a good way to get going.
