Yeah, I have just spent so much time substituting online life for real life that I don't want to do it anymore. I don't really want to play against friends, which is why I think a study group is a better idea. I see your point about time availability, and about not liking hanging around poker players (I've written about that before). I guess sometimes longing for the unlikely or impossible is part of the human condition.
